For 7th grade success STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!!!!! Education has allowed me to travel and work abroad on many occasions. Since 1996 I have traveled to Turkey, Thailand, India, Holland, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Saudia Arabia, Germany, France, England, and I have worked and lived in Kuwait and Saudia Arabia. The Global world is shrinking, and it is getting easier, cheaper, and more rewarding to travel abroad, live abroad, and to work abroad. Colleges have hundreds of programs to send students abroad to enhance their educational experience.

Languages are more and more important in business. Language is best learned in the country and culture on site! Plan to travel and to learn some language to free yourself from tourist sites that provide English speaking guides for you.

We will study Asia and Africa this year and I hope that my pictures and personal experiences will increase interest and learning in the classroom. Learning does not have to be dry and boring. We will talk about food, clothing, religion, and cultural traditions in these regions. Civilization began in Asia and today the world and the US are focused on these areas, whether militarily, economically, diplomatically, and also for tourism. Asia and Africa are in the news daily and will continue to be important to Americans domestically and internationally.
